Living together provides plenty of joy but also entails many challenges. The value of a group, of friendship and of partnership is highly significant in the day-to-day life of the Academy, and students and Academy staff focus on building a strong, close-knit community.
Being involved and proactive within the society in which we live is a pivotal value at the Academy. This is especially important for youth that are used to perceiving themselves as needy and indigent rather than giving and having responsibility to others.
A significant part of the students' year at the Academy is the classroom learning. This enables them to gain knowledge, consolidate a worldview, explore their personal identity, and improve their critical thinking skills.
All our students will serve in the IDF. Military service in Israeli society is key to social mobility. Completing a meaningful service often opens doors to challenging work in the labor market after the army and can also affect the contribution one makes to society.
